The Motherhood Healing Festival is a community driven initiative created by Motherhood Healing Collective dedicated to empowering pregnant families in rural Georgia. This festival is a full day gathering that re-imagines maternal health for women preparing for pregnancy, mothers currently pregnant, women transitioning into motherhood as new moms, and the birthworkers, healers, and supporters who walk beside them.
Our mission is to reduce barriers to maternal care, address food insecurity, and provide educational resources in a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive environment no matter where you live or how much money you make. Fiscally sponsored by Global Doula Project, attendees gain access to fresh, locally sourced produce, educational programming, and resources that connect them to long term support.
We anticipate over 100+ mothers, women, and families again for our second year; with our continued mission to unite families, healthcare providers, and partners to close the gaps in maternal health and improve outcomes for mothers and babies in rural Georgia.
